Gilgamesh storytelling at St John's College, Cambridge

Zipang storytellers June Peters and Badia Obaid gave a Mesopotamian storytelling performance at the Archaeology Summer School for sixth-formers, in St John's College, Cambridge.

" were a massive contribution to the event..." said Dr Martin Worthington, seen here with June, Badia and summer school students.

They told, in English and Arabic, the Huluppu Tree story about dingir Inana, Gilgamesh, Enkidu and the Land of the Dead.
